Once a tax return is complete, clients ask me how they can make their individual income tax payments to the IRS or to the various states.

While many software companies allow the funds to be taken out directly from the client's bank accounts on a given date, I generally do not like this option as there is no way to rescind it, and no way to verify or confirm. I prefer client's directly pay IRS or the state directly.

I have attempted to compile the different payment websites. (Use it at your own risk, please verify the information and site first. If you find it suspicious, do not use it, instead mail a check to the state directly).
